How about if we as group tried to raise "X" amount of dollars and then donate the whole sum on behalf of the 's?

Thanks jedwards!

IMHO, the best thing we can do is to just donate directly to one of these organizations.

It would be great if a mod can make this a sticky so it shows up in all forums. It would help people like me who are too lazy to do this otherwise and then forget in the end.

Sticky might be a good idea... or just bump it.

I couldn't wait 'til we organized... It's more important that relief get there.

OMG... have you seen the latest number of dead?... 120,000. I've never even imagined such a thing.
