Thumbs up Cars dead

Hoping for a little help from someone who may have had the same thing happen to them.

I have just come back from a 2 week holiday and was looking for to a nice drive in the S, went to unlock the car with the romote and nothing happened, unlocked the car with the key and the hazzard lights flashed as if the alarm was going off, but no siren.

I get ignition lights but the car will not start, not even a click from the starter motor. I guess I have what is called a "Flat Battery", but my questions is, once the car has been jump started by the trusty AA how will that effect the cars ECU etc..?

Can someone tell me of any potential problems that I may have.

Thanks for your help.

ECU, 'probably' wont effect it as the battery might have a small amount of juice to retain its settings, if not no problem it will just relearn Idle, Ignition timing etc etc

If you didn't leave any electrics on, the battery is probably fooked as well as flat. They tend to have a life of a few years on the S.

Its not uncommon to blow the odd fuse after a jump start, like the radio for example, but nothing major.
