Local S2K Owners - time to brag on your car


Since Dan no longer works at Ed Napleton and senior management has changed as well, it was time to renue our sponsorship with Ed Napleton. I met with the new General Manger (Mitch) and new Service Manager (Ed) to introduce myself and the Gateway S2K community to the staff at Ed Napleston's. All of their existing sponsorship discounts on New Vehicles, Parts and Service will remain in place for our group.

Who remembers this?



The management team from Ed Napleton would like for us to have an S2K car show in conjunction with special sales incentives being held in September. Ed Napleton will advertise on Radio and a couple of local TV comercials to come in and shop for a new Honda, while at the same time viewing a "fleet" of S2K's. These commercials will begin to play on September 13th through Spetember 25th. The Sales Event and S2000 Car Show will take place on the last day of airing these commercials...or... Sept 25th.

Ed Napleton will supply the marketing/advertising, food, door prizes, special discount on parts above and beyond or normal 15%, and of course...trophies. All we need to do is show up with as many S2K's that we can muster. I want to shoot for even a better showing than the 15 S2000's we had in 2007.

So... mark your calendars for

Commercials radio/TV - Sept 13th - 25th
S2000 Car Show - Sept 25th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Ed Napleton St. Peters

Our nearby community S2000 brothers and sisters are more than welcome to attend.

I will be there as well.

 

I will try to get as many people from Springfield and the surrounding area to come. I had an absolute blast last time! I can't believe it was that long ago either!

Unfortunately I will be unable to attend myself, as this is the exact date and time of the S2000 Homecoming II at the Honda America Headquarters in Torrance CA, and I will be there for that.

We are planning a local S2000 roundup, though, and this will be one of the main topics of conversation. Thanks for the invite, Mike, I'll do my best to get some guys up there b/c I know they'll have a LOT of fun!!!

Maybe the new mgrs will do a better job because we've never got 15% parts discounts at Ed's, and didn't have a good buying experience there either when we got the Fit, despite Gateway membership .. svc experiences have been marginal too
