So like it states, how many trannies or rear ends have you guys been through?

Please note driving style, ap1, or ap2. And year and mileage of car.

No major mechanical defects in 5 plus years of owning a MY 00. Low miles - about 19,000, but a daily driver. I had the rear axle nuts replaced recently for less than $50 at the dealer. Build quality, even on the first models (maybe especially on the first models) is outstanding.

I think you meant to be on the 350Z boards. I went through 3 trannys on my Z before I wised up and tossed it for an S2000.

'02 with 87k miles... Driving style is moderate. I don't launch the car but I do rev the hell out of it. Street driven only.

Still on the original transmission. Aside from the fact that the 1-->2 shift feels like crap when the car is cold, I haven't had any issues with it.

Original differential, too.
