Tried to start the S this morning for the first time in 10 days but alarm went off as soon as I opened the door. No matter which button was pressed on key fob it was impossible to switch off. The alarm sounded for 2 minutes at a time with a break of about 2 seconds

 

Your battery is dead, just use jumpleads to start it and it will be ok

 

I think my battery is getting close to its end Alarm seems to go off everynow and then when I get in and go to start the engine. Engine will startt but alarm goes off, have to switch off and unlock to shut it up... low battery?

 

Thanks guys - jump start did the trick. Off to buy a new battery!!

Mine did the same , first signs are the dash goes very dim when cranking

I had to buy one of those CTEK XS 3600s after the tracker and alarm kept draining the 911 battery. Does the job nicely

 

it's a royal pain in the arse when you don't have a garage and park a fair way from your house

 

I just wish mine went off in the first place!!!!!
