Yep, we did a couple of pulls this morning.

This was with the following conditions:

HKS Hiper Exhaust
MG Racing CAI
Mugen ECU

It was probably in the low 70's, sunny, low humidity.

Any questions?

Yes, can you please post the dyno chart and the numerical data in 250RPM increments? Pretty please?

Think I'll save a couple thousand dollars instead.

Keep up the good work though, guys.

Good numbers Greg,

When did you sneak in the Mugen ECU?
How do you like it?

was the car dynoed before any of the mods? I'd like to know. some of the s2k's dyno at 190 and some at 201 - it would matter what the baseline is to determine how much of a % of increase all the mods make: whether it be a 5hp incresae or 15hp increase.

also, mingster's previous post stated he had a slight dip in a certain powerband because of his headers/exhaust mods. it would be great to see this compared with your setup. I'm psyched about the new headers, but just wanting to hear more about their improvements in the powerband.

just a suggestion - because of several of your parts you've put on your car cannot be reflected on the dyno, it would be great to hear about weight savings. for instance, the intake might not yield much of anything on the dyno as much as it would out on the track. even though CF weighs next to nothing, it would be a reduction from the airbox you removed. same goes for the brake rotors. in regards to the ECU - milage comparisons either at the track or around the city. it might be a bit difficult since its not a daily driver, esp. living in the city, but numbers added up over a given amount of time before and after the ECU were added would help in my decision to make this modification.

I'm just looking for factual numbers here instead of the 'wow' factor.

thanks!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Schatten. j/k Schatten.

The "wow" factor does not do any of us any good. A baseline of the car would provide us, the end customers, real world data.

As is, I am very skeptical that any of your mods may have yielded 5, 10, 15hp or greater. It may be simply that your car has been run hard for "4000 miles" and has been able to fully develop all of its horsepower potential in stock form. Who is not to say the your car is not unlike SoCal's S2000? Didn't he dyno around 205hp.

Bottom line, you can wow us all day long but a baseline should have been done on your car.

Don't mean to flame you but it's all about real world data to tell the whole story.

Jose
