I have said alarm 3.5 years old nearly.

Without reading thro' your mail properly:

Twice in three years, the slave motors the installers fitted have either failed(once) or the clip powering the lock came off (once).

slave motors had to be fitted to enable the lock to work on both drivers / passenger side.

Ted, I bought an identical car from Nick Emanuel and it has run fine for almost a year - no problems at all from the car or the alarm.
Will dig out the documentation on the alarm.

I picked mine up yesterday from Andrew green. same problem as you. Let me know if you resolve this. Need to get tp 600 miles asap!! I sat in your car 2 weeks ago. very nice. I would pay an extra 50 quid or so to get it sorted. Or we could claim from andrew green as the car is sold UK spec. Did you get them to fit locking wheel nuts? If not I suggest getting them to send you some

BigTed,
I bought an S from the same company back in September, and have noticed the same problem.

Can you tell me how you sorted it?

One other point. I noticed the remote for the cobra alarm doesn't have button for the boot release. Is yours the same?
