Take about 2" off W & L, remember the it tapers in as you go deeper. To get the most airspace use 3/4" MDF on top and 1/2" for the rest then coat the inside with resin to seal and strengthen the bottom box.

Awesome...thanks

22" x 13" x 5" it is. Alright...now, I know I need the PAC SWI-X with the semi-wired harness from you but do I want the one with or without the mute line (I have a JVC deck that has an AUX function but not a mute one)...would the 6.5" adapter be necessary for the CDT HD 62's?

bondo is the "name brand" but others are just as good. We use a PPG brand (the auto paint maker). The Jelly kind is what you want.

I made a drawing because I'm looking at different possibilities for another sub box...

I'm thinking of selling the first box and sub and getting something bigger and better...
