If you own a Honda S2000 and are around 6'5"
I've come to the conclusion that I want to purchase an S2000 within 6-8 months. However, I am unfortunately 6'5" tall. Could anyone who is around my height confirm that they fit in their car, and fit comfortably? Another thing, some people have long legs, and some have long torsoes, so what is the size of your inseam when you buy pants? I know I don't fit inside a Honda Civic, does this have more or less room? However, I do fit inside a Mazda Miata, but the only propbelm is that the wheel rubs against my legs. I know the S2000 has about 2 more inches of leg room, but about 3 less inches of head room. I can live with that if it's true. I also understand that there is a seat modification that you can do to gain an inch or so down and back. I may have to do that. Another thing is, I'm 18 and I am not going to buy the car new, so I don't want to go to a dealer and waste the dealer's time when I'm not going to buy a car from him. So if any of my fellow freaks out there can confirm that they comfortably fit inside an S2000 then I'll be happy.
Also, if anyone in the Mid-Atlantic region would be generous enough to let me sit in their car I'd love to meet up with you. You can take my Subie for a spin if it interests ya!
Thanks.

More direct answer: I'm afraid much over 6-0 is a problem, especially if you have looooooooong legs (b/c the seat travel is not all that great
) Good luck in your quest.... er, search

Cobreth, I'm 6'2" 240lb and headroom is not a prob. Leg room OK too. Pedals fit my size 13's. My 2002 fits like a glove. My Prelude is much more roomy in the front but it also doesn't feel like a TRUE sports car either. You can't fit in a Civic ??? That's odd. Must be the roofline. I would strongly suggest driving the S before buying...

Back to the main topic, I'm more around 6'4" and a little. I sit up REALLY close in my Impreza, I don't like the "gangsta lowrider stance." The problem with the civic was my knees hitting the dash. In my Impreza, I sit up to where my knees don't hit the dash, but they're less than an inch away. I'm used to and am comfortable driving in this position, so hopefully an S2K will be good for me. I KNOW it would be fine if it had tilt steer. I just need to see for myself I suppose. Also, I'm 150lbs, really really skinny.

I am 6'2"and long in the torso, but, I think I am at the limit for head room and leg room in the S2000.
Try it on for yourself and find out
I am in Silver Spring MD, if you ever make it over this way you are welcome to have a seat.

I'm sure they wont mind. Just don't slash their tires or shoot out their taillights.
BTW, this is sooo funny how you guys can go out-of-state with such ease. Where I live, it'll take a good 7 hours to get to the nearest state (Louisiana). New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas are a day's drive away.
