Here are the notes that I have put together

JIC- standard setup is 7kF/8kR $1800
Bistein B14 PSS - Height Adjustable only 6kF/5kR $900
Bilstein B16 PSS9 - 9 way damping don't know spring rates or price, I think they are only available in Europe at this time
Buddy Club Racing Spec - looks correct to me

You forgot Mugen N-Zeros

The single-tube step-free damper adjustment method is used at the front, and the twin-tube 5-stage damper adjustment method is used at the rear to cope with different requirements. Casings are made of steel. Coil over construction.

$3300

Thanks everyone! Now that we have a strong list of options, the tough question:

Which one is the best value? There seems to be a clear borderline in price between high end coilovers and mid range coilovers. This is not to say that the midrange coilovers are not of high quality construction, it just means that they may not be completely developed with racing applications in mind.

Best Value under $2000:

??????

Best Overall coilover setup under $10,000:

??????

--

I understand this definately will be mostly subjective based upon ownership experience, but any kind of input will help me (and hopefully anyone else in the market for coilovers) to make the best decision based on my budget.

Thanks again,

Richard

Secret,

Your application and usage are as important as your budget. No point in using something like the Moton, JRZ, Ohlin, custom made Penske's, Koni 28's if you are spending most of your time >90% on the street. Just plain overkill. JIC and BC look like the best value for an aggressive street/occasional track set up. A 10/10K is going to be harder on your body than oem when street driven. Personally I love the Moton set up davepk has.

Might consider GC's with Koni's an GC's with advance design, especially if price/performance is of importance...

Just as verification, the Bilstein PSS9 kit for the S2000 is not currently available in the US.

buddy club all the way
cheap effective.. plus a groupbuy is going on right now.
I can point out a lot of bad stuff about the leading brands, but JIC&BC
and price being a huge factor for you, i would stay away from the Motons/JRZs stuff like that OVERKILL for the streets.
either go with JIC or buddy club
