Xerd 03-11-03 ....
Ok, here we go. I went up there today and he was right on time. 10:00am sharp. We drove to his Mechanic's shop about 10 miles away (please do not ask for address) and saw my car. As I popped the hood I was relived to see that some thing had been done. The manifold was on (no Pics). The manifold went from the piston (1?) near the fire wall and went forward above the oil filter and below an electrical plug. The pipes were 2" and NOT equal length. They square off together and mold into one larger tube that then tapers into the turbo. The taper portion was NOT welded on yet. I spoke with the tech and he said that they had made a few other testers but they want a kit that will not require any removal or moving of factory parts. The tech said it will be done on this Friday.
Then we have a problem. The final parts are to be made of stainless steel, so the parts have to be mailed/ delivered to a shop in Anaheim to be made. I called them ( the stainless company) and they told me that they do work with XERD, however, to set up a production run for any new kit takes Three WEEKS more before they could have a finished product, and that all depends on when they receive the parts.
The only gripe I have is the time factor and that I did not get to physically see the electronics, turbo, BOV, etc that are at his house. I pick up the car next week in stock form while the parts are sent out. He was professional and understood my concerns. Again I have nothing to complain about really other than the time it is taking. Thanks for the support. 5 weeks minimum till it is up and functional IMO.

Assuming you've already paid for those, you might want to hold them in escrow until the kit gets done. Me personally? I'd run away very fast.
