Well, these were the wheels that I received damaged from an Ebay transaction gone wrong. After months of tracking the shipper down, I learned that the shipper, Michelle, ripped off about 30 other people for a total of $30,000 in bogus computer equipment. After spending months trying to prosecute Michelle with the other people involved, I decided to go ahead and powercoat my new damaged wheels. Well, the wheels came out great except that the wheel weights were silver and stuck out like a sore thumb. So I did a quick coat of flat black to cover them up, and now the weights are very hard to notice. MY S2000 has been dormant for about four months now, so I plan on putting on the wheels tonight.

My assistant for the install.

Half way there.

Finally, the finished product !!

To sum it up: the powdercoating was $200 for all four, the removal, mounting and balancing was $100 and the NSX lug nuts were $75, so all together not too expensive !! I do realize my rotors are rusty, but the car just came out of storage.

Not my taste at all. Reminds of when people drive around with no hub caps. Sorry...no offense
