Default New Goodyear F1 GS-D3's

I want to get some new tires, and I did some research and decided that these tires are the best option for my use. At tirerack.com, you have W rated F1's for 205/55-16, and the Y rating for 225/50-16 tires. If I were to get these tires with diffrent speed ratings, would that be a problem? Please let me know. Thanks

If you get 225's for the rear, you will be narrower tread than stock. You need 245's to be even close.

Yup! The SO2's have the same footprint as a 245 of any other make.
The fronts are the same as other brands.

had the gs-d3 on the s for 1000ks or so
205/55 fronts 225/50 rears... they dont sell 245/45 16 size in australia.
car sticks like glue better than ths s02s i think
but noticed tendency for the car to understeer more than b4 but i'm not sure if thats related to my wheel alignment. havent driven it in the rain yet

What would be the effects (bad in particular) of putting 245/50 on the rear?
