Glenn that sucks! You really shouldn't keep things in a bag, but let them out. How else are we supposed to help you if we don't even know about it. I guess I'm not in the "in" crowd since I'm the last to find out. Oh well, I would have offered help or assisstance had I known.

I hope your rebuild goes well. Anxious to hear what goes into it(and how much it costs! )

Any chance it was the toda cams that caused the problem and not the oil level?

If you need some extra cash and you wanna sell that mugen hood, I'll be the first in line! Just have Max paint it all sebring silver except the middle of the vents.

Sorry to the bad news. Hope the end result makes up for it.

To be honest Jenner, I had way to much to think about this weekend. Dealing with the Car Show, then the Dyno Day and all in between that searching for a new motor, and researching all of my options, I didn't want to "bother" more people than I had to. It has nothing to do about being in the "In Crowd"... 98% of the guys listed above saw me at the Car Show or at the Dyno Day. There were also vendors at the car show, that I haven't spoken to in quite awhile also willing to help me out and it was just soo much info and too many options that I just needed to really think about what I was going to do next.

If you do have any suggestions, definitly let me know... nothing is set in stone right now... But for my quest for squeezing as much HP out of this engine but staying NA... I guess my project is starting a lot sooner than I ever thought it would. I guess it's good and bad at the same time.

I will not discount the Toda Cams as being at fault, but I really have no idea at this point. I took about 15 min looking at my engine with the Head Tech at the dealership showing me the damage. they showed me the scoring on the cam, but other than that, I didn't take a good look at the cams. I guess I will be looking at them a lot more now. Basically, the Toda Cams could be the fault, but it also couldn't be the fault.

Nice try on the hood... One you'd have to wait in line for that item... too many people this weekend almost started a fight for it But if you raced everyone that wanted it... I'd sure you'd win!

Thanks Jenner!

I was told, and I haven't visually seen it yet... but the crank bearings are said to be brass.

On another note: IF and only IF I sold my hood... yes it would go to the highest bidder BUT... I'm going to try my hardest not to let that happen

Back off, blower boy...if Glenn decides to part out the car, I'm ahead of you

I don't see how new cams could have caused the scoring issues. At best it could have created a rich or lean condition (obviously lean being the more likely case, and more deadly), but it wouldn't affect the oil sprayers.

Since you're going to sand the cylinders anyway, maybe you should consider a stroker kit, or even better, sleeving the block for future upgrades.

Hi Dan

First sand will not be the process... machining will

And yes... all of those are being considered
