here are some notes to answer some common questions to my post:

1) these are not direct replacement speakers. these speakers do need a little bit of work to mount. these speakers will also need an amp to power them. the stock or any aftermarket head unit does not provide sufficient power.

2) as mentioned, this is a brand new set of speakers in its original packaging. it comes with 2 woofers, 2 tweeters, 2 crossovers, and some mounting hardware.

3) if you ask me or most people, they will tell you that boston proseries are very good speakers. however, i will also recommend you to try and listen to them yourself. speakers are very subjective items. best best is to hear for yourself and them determine whether they are good or not. go to a good guys and hear for yourself!

i have these and love them. the best bass you can get w/o a sub and they can take as much power as you can stand to hear. If i could fit another pair in lucid's rear adapters, i would

Hell yeah these are good speakers...put them head-to-head against the JL Audio XR650 CSi speakers that everyone seems to love so much and the JL's get demolished!

 

I have these also, along with a JL stealthbox, Precision Gold amp, and Alpine CD. The combination is about as good as you can get in a S2 without any major work.

This guys price is a good one. If you are in the market, give these a try!
