New Speakers Question
I just blew my speakers couple weeks ago turning by my bass up and now I'm planning on getting new speakers. Does it matter about how many Watts it have? Cuz i wanna get a speaker that won't blow when i turn up the volume. Does it matter about the brand/how its made? cuz I'm looking at some and can't decide so ill let you guys help me out and give me some suggestions on my choice below...

Too little information: Stock head unit? If not, what type? Amp?
You can’t get caught up in wattage numbers; for the most part, they’re crap. I guarantee you that a $40/pair generic speaker isn’t going to handle 800w!
Go to stores and listen. Crutchfield is also a good source.
All that said, speakers warn you before they blow. When you turn it up to the point of distortion, that’s your warning.
