If you can't trust s2ki folks, who can you trust?

OK here's the details:
I posted this WTB ad for door panels a while back and got a reponse from a member named BlackS2kBeast . I paypal'd him $250 on friday the 18th. He promised to ship the door panels the following monday. Since then he has not reponded to my PM's even though they are being read (according to PM tracking). I should of trusted my gut on this guy. His paypal account and S2ki mebership was pretty new.

There's another member who purchased a taillight from him around the same time. Luckily he as able to get the money order back from the post office.

I already filed a complaint with Paypal. I'm going to call my credit card company and report this as a fraud.

T.I.T.S I need your help as well. People like this need to be taught a valuable lesson!!

 

So I assume that you were never supplied with shipping info or tracking of some kind? Or has it been just dead air? Personally I always trust my gut.


See this just goes to show that communication is the key to any transaction. almost every bad transaction posted, communication is that part the broke first.

 

Nope nothing. He's been 100% uncommunicative even though he's getting my PM's.

 

In reviewing all of his posts, looks like we just might have two member that got scammed. Out of the 22 posts that he made, most of them were in the F/S forum, offering to sell something.

 

I would call the Towson, MD police department and tell them that information. Couldn't hurt?

Is this the guy that we figured him out to be ferrariman in the past? If memery serves me correctly, he had some story about having a whole wrecked S with parts to replace all the damaged parts.

 

I don't know who is the TITS rep in the area, but I think I remember Rick (ya know, sell-everything-on-the-planet-with-a-logo Rick) as being in Towson MD too. I noticed that 'cause I'm originally from Baltimore and still have family there. I usually get back there once or twice a year, but that doesn't do you much good now.

If this is still up in the air in late June, let me know, I'm planning a Baltimore trip about then, and I have a very LARGE younger brother.

 

NEVER send your moneys before receiving the goods (Or at least have proof it's already in transit).
