New S2K owner in need of help with a clutch issue
Hi everyone. I just picked up an 03 model this Monday morning, and after driving it all day, I've noticed the clutch pedal vibrating upon disengaging the clutch. I posted in the technical forum and xviper replied with this.
"Although some vibration comes through the pedals and especially the shift knob, without actually feeling it for myself, I will not tell you that it is normal nor will I tell you to ignore it. It could be "normal" BUT it could also be a symptom of a throw out bearing on it's way out. This has been reported and those reporting it have had it fixed under warranty. It would seem that certain cars had the throw out bearing put on at the factory without adequate grease (or any at all) being put on the spindle that it sits on. This causes premature wear and will eventually malfunction - the vibration gets worse and the clutch will not engage and dis-engage properly.
I am not saying you have one of these cars and I am not saying you do. Let someone in your area with some S2000 experience take your car for a test drive - with you in it of course"
Does anyone of you have the time in the evenings to drive my car and see if this clutch pedal vibration is normal or not? I'm still in the process of breaking the car in, but this vibration has me concerned. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

The vibration is subtle, and there's no noise whatsoever.
