Over the past few months in the Audio Control business, I have been able to acquire a few extra audio control modules as well as remotes for various brands of head units.
With these extra parts, I am able to build Audio Controls and send them out to you without you having to first remove and send in your stock audio control with headunit remote. This eliminates the need for you to perform two separate installation processes and you no longer have to drive around for two weeks with a hole in your dash

What head units is the core exchange available for?
The core exchange is available for ALL HEAD UNITS. I have a variety of remotes that I can use for the core exchange. If I do not have the particular remote you need for your head unit, simply mail me your head unit remote and I will use it for your core exchange. As for the details of which remotes I already have, send me a Private Message and we can work out the details.
What is the additional cost?
There is no additional cost for the core exchange. As long as you install the core and send back your stock parts in a timely manner (see below), the total price is still $199.
What is the current wait time?
The number of core parts is limited, which means there is a waiting list for the core exchange program. The wait time depends on how long each person takes to send the stock parts back.
Does this mean I'm getting someone else's old parts?
Yes, you are getting "used" parts. However, the faceplate of the Audio Control is NOT transferred between owners, so your controller should appear the same as it did before. Additionally, each controller is hand built and tested to ensure reliable functionality, just as before.
Once I receive the core, how long do I have to install it?
Two weeks. I, as well as everyone behind you on the waiting list, would appreciate it if you complete the process as soon as you can, but this will not always be possible. Two weeks should be more than enough time for you to complete the installation and send your old parts back, though. If I inform you that I am sending you the controller and you don't think you will have time to install it, please let me know so I can send it to someone else first and push you back a spot on the list. Although I would hate to have to enforce it, I will be forced to charge an extra $50 for every week you keep the core after the initial two weeks has expired.
Can I still get Qube's Audio Control the "old fashioned" way?
Yes. If you cannot wait for the core exchange, you can still send your stock audio control module and headunit remote. The typical turnaround time is under 2 weeks.

I just received my controller from DJ Qube today, and I was able to pull my old controller and install the new one in approximately 1 1/2 hours (excellent instructions)! The controller works flawlessly with my alpine 9815 HU. The added functionality over the OEM controls is awesome
Art (DJ Qube) responded to all of my e-mails/PM's/Questions in a prompt and professional manner.
This Controller rocks, and I highly recommend it to anyone with an aftermarket HU!
