Default 2200 not on its way to uk....yet

Spoke to a man at honda uk who says they have no plans to bring in the 2200,they think it will take potential buyers away from the s2000 so why have both.

2.2 engine in the s2200 it seems is more to do with meeting emission levels in certain places.

He also mentioned that the s2000 will not be changed for a couple of years.

Got him to confirm this in writing as forking out

I think your salesperson is not being honest with you. Just to clarify, the 2.2 liter engine is replacing the 2.0. They are not going to be sold side by side.

Are you ordering an '04? I would specify an '04 regardless of what the salesperson told you.

Man, the rest of the world gets all the good colors...Imola Orange, Monte Carlo Blue... We always somehow get screwed in the US when it comes to import cars.

I would have to believe you have been duped. Since the S2000 is already classified as a Low Emissions Vehicle, i seriously doubt that they would create a larger engine to cut emissions. Also, why would they put a 2 liter engine in the car for all other markets except America when they only build about 10,000 of them a year?

Makes no sense to me.

I think Honda makes their color choices from surveys that people fill out. I'd also like to see some more "electric" colors as well.
