July 12 Wilmy Meet---> AUTOBODY REPAIR & Beach Body Snare

*NOTE* Event will be rescheduled for the fall.
For our July 12 Wilmy meeting I've asked Shawn Dixon, CFCC Lead Instructor, Auto Body Repair, to give us demonstrations and instruction on....................(drumroll).................. ......
PAINT REPAIR.
Everyone with swirls, scratches and rock chips (that includes all of us, doesn't it?) who would like to fix them without paying hundreds of dollars should attend.
HOTRODS2000 has graciously offered to let us use his garage for the meet. You gotta see it to believe it! Two huge bays, one with a lift. He's offered to let a few of us change fluids or just poke around underneath.
Then......................(an even BIGGER drumroll)......................................... .............
its off to the beach where we'll learn the *fine art* of body painting .
Once again, you gotta see it to believe it!
Here's the schedule:
10:30 Meet at Bob Evans Restaurant---> Take I40 into Wilmington. Take the Hwy17 N exit, Bob Evans is on the right. From Hwy74 go to Hwy132 (College Rd), turn left and continue to Hwy14 N exit.
10:45 Convoy to HOTROD's garage (3minutes)
10:48 Lunch orders will be taken for Subway samiches.

12:30ish Lunch!
1:00ish Convoy to my office near the beach where we'll park and I'll deliver you to SuperBad Beach Pad (blanket and unbrella) with cooler stocked with ice and sunscreen (byo adult beverage).
1:30 We wait for the Hooters girls to show.

With a weekend were the west side is heading up to the Dragon, and the east side is going to the beach. I will be in the office working

I would LOVE to go, but my mom is coming to visit and see my new house, so i can't make it, there is a slight chance that she won't be able to make it, if that is the case I am there without a doubt,

P.S. this is a great idea for a meet, mixing fun with useful educational stuff is pure genius. if only skool was lyk that maybe i wud be sumthin tuday.
