Very clear hi-res videos anyone interested in the RX8 should have a look at these. Complete with interior shots, under the bonnet shots and picture in picture showing the footwork in places. Very nice. Looks strange with all its doors open.
I downloaded the large one using right-click and save as but for some reason it didn't know when it had finished and started downloading again This was with Opera, I didn't try with IE. GetRight downloaded it no problem.
You will definately need those latest DivX codecs, even if you have a previous version of DivX. Windows media player will play the large .avi but you'll have to use the DivX player for the other two, at least on my pc anyway.
Would be interested to know what all the weaving during the test was about? seemed alot just to warm the tyres up
Well that gave my adsl a good workout
Cheers Fletch

No probs.
I agree it does look a bit odd with all the doors open. But strangely not in a bad way.
I've found a full version of the laguna-seca.avi and I think it's worth a look too.
I won't be able to upload it till this evening, but I'll TTT when it's there.

As promised, I've updated the laguna-seca.avi. (33mb)
I think the new version is worth it. (If you've got the bandwidth)
It should also appeal to fans of gran-turismo 3.

The 33MB file is well worth it. It plays in windows media player now its the original full length
Can't get over how much it looks like an S2000 with the hardtop on It would be interesting to see an S2000 cornering at the same speed to compare body roll.
Nice looking car really, seems to rev to 9,000RPM as well if I was looking at the right tachometer from the other vid.
The engine note of the car in Gran Turismo is also spot on

The 33MB Laguna Seca is REALLY interesting to watch, having raced that course so many times on GT3. I knew where the corners were going before he even got there
Agreed about the engine tone of the RX8, MD

Particularly "Part 08 - Tsukba Battle" as this is a 12.5 minute (85Mb!) track race with a MX-5, RX-8, IntegraR, S2000, G35C and WRX.
Wont spoil it, bue the S2000 does rather well.

Fantastic, thanks for that.
"Rather Well"... I'll say. But I was surprised that the RX8 didn't fair so well.

Fingers crossed for you for lots of sun, so you can experience it the way it ought to be!
