Default Going to Japan any places I should go or things I should buy?!?!?

Anyone have any suggestions for fun places to visit? I have a J.R (train) pass for the whole month so I can go pretty much go anywhere..... ALSO... is there anything in particular that I should try to pick up in japan while i'm there?

Ok a better question I guess would be if you could get anything small from japan what would it be?!?!

Lets hear something creative b/c I dunno what da hell to look for when i'm over there! This trip is strictly for EATING and SHOPPING!!

A visit to Akihabara to check out the electronics section is fun.

I like going to Tokyu Hands general goods store in Shibuya. http://www.tokyu-hands.co.jp/

Tokyo Loft department store is nearby, check it out too if you get a chance.

Tokyo Disneyland is fun, several differences between the CA version if you're into that.

The food level of any Isetan department store is an amazing experience.

Honda has a dealership/museum somewhere in Tokyo, I wasn't into Honda's at the time so I didn't check it out. I think I spotted a Senna MP4/6 in there.

Post in Off-Topic for more responses... if this was 2 years ago, I'd say Bit Char G , but those aren't as cool as they used to be.. dunno what is available in Japan, but they always have something cool that we won't have for another 5 years..

My favorite city in all of Japan is Sapporo, located on the Northern Island of Hokkaido. It is a beautiful city...met my wife there, too. Going to Hokkaido would provide the opportunity to get out of Tokyo and see a lot of the beauty of that country. Regardless of where you go, you are going to have a great time!

I'll be in Japan for 2 weeks at the end of September. Does anybody know where to purchase Teins in this country, and how much I can save by purchasing them in Japan?
