have any of the site sponsors looked into importing this intake? apparently it is super-expensive (naturally). group buy however...?

I'd be curious tho if it's gains are that much better than a PRM-- both of which suck air from the same spot. does *anybody* in the US have one of these?? anybody heading over to Japan anytime soon?

to seung, for finding this intake and posting a link to it months back.

(edit: link is now fixed)

EDIT: this thing is ridiculously overpriced. read on. this thread becomes a discussion of intakes that are worth the price...

Js intake? how low does it go? I got hydrolock fears, and I've been doing a search thru the old intake threads when I came across this sick-looking, but f*cking ridiculously overpriced monstrosity.

looks like the dyno #s really favor the PRM, and I'm diggin that it's high up and over the passenger side air duct (which I'll soon be dremmeling out). so no hydrolock unless I drive into a lake.

but about the Js intake-- any advantages over the PRM I should consider?

and yes, go ahead and hijack this thread away from the $2K intestines I'm embarrassed to have even posted about.

That intake there is designed to make better low-mid-range power, but nothing up top.
