Default Turbo Retuned with eManage Ignition Control and Boost Upgrade...

The car was recently equipped with 440cc injectors and we got the eManage ignition timing working. I told the tuner to tune the car to his desire, as he saw fit, as he is a very experienced turbo Honda tuner (and fabricates his own kits). I know that some people will say the boost level I'm running is stupid, but I've accepted the risk and I do know the risk. I'm relying on the expertise of my tuner. The results are 321 whp on 11 psi on 93 octane. The car is much faster, much. There are a few bugs that we need to work out, but the car is driving very well.

What else is done to your car? Exhaust? What size turbo are you running?

Thanks

Awesome! What I'm really impressed with is that you're not running stand alone and from what you said it's running well. to your tuner too!

I wish my s2k was as fast as yours.

wow, your torque dropped hard after 8200 rpm. Are you miss firing?

Great numbers. Wes, so now does it feel faster than your SC set-up?

Ok, damn you build a lot of your power in the mid range. It almost seems like it's not even worth taking the car up to 9k anymore.

Why'd the dyno run start at 4500?

When did the boost start to build? The major advantage of a turbo over a SC is more boost earlier and longer so curious minds want to know

Since you "only" made 321 hp at 11 psi (several are making 300 @ 8 psi) and with the torque fall off I am guessing you are running out of the turbo's efficiency range on the upper end. That is not a complaint or a dig in any way. That type of set up would be better on the street than a larger turbo and obviously would also work well at the track.

Could it be the torque & power fall off from 6-8k are because the stock ecu is still cutting timing in huge chunks on top of the eManage? Anyway to confirm that? Maybe a little more work on the ignition side could solve that.

I wouldn't expect it to be perfect the first time out on a new system, but it looks pretty awesome!
