Hello all, just wanted an opinion from you S2000 owners. I am getting my rear window replaced and am curious which cleaner works the best. I have used the 3M plastic cleaner and cloths. It does work, but can cause light scratching and can be messy. Should I go with the Plexus?

I have Meguiar's and Plexus and I prefer Plexus. I have all 3 Meguiar's products for the plastic window and I believe they are all in liquid form. Meguiars do the job but Plexus' aerosol can is much easier to use and I find the results to be as good if not better than Meguiar's. I used Plexus two days ago to clean up the foggy/cloudy (my biggest gripe) plastic window and it is looking the best it ever has. And Plexus doesn't seem to stain the ragtop if you accidently overspray it.

XaznX, The inner top with the plastic window costs $130-145, but the labor for the replacement is $400-600, whole top has to come off.

I've never used the Plexus, only Mequiar's. The thing I don't like about Mequiar's is that it is a two step process (polisher/scratch remover then cleaner) and I think you will find the less you have to contort yourself to clean the inside of the plastic window the happier you will be.

(of course both steps are not required at each cleaning)

Either way, I think the Plexus seems easier to use.

Plexus seems good so far, but there's a small section along the bottom left that seems to stay clouded, solutions would be appreciated...

For scratches, I prefer the Meguiar's; for routine cleaning I like the Plexus. A vigorous wipe with Plexus not only cleans the window, but also polishes it as well, removing any fogging or light imperfections. The result is a clear, clean window.
