What about 3M? I thought that S2Ki.com recommended that one? I'm just a little curious because I've had my S2K for about 3 weeks and have yet to clean it, but I think I will this weekend . . .

I tried the 3m product, and it works fine; however, it is not a clear product and will stain the roof if not used carefully. I'm basically lazy, so I use the Meguiar's (clear) and Plexus (clear) to do my dirty work on the rear window.

I use the 3M but it's a hassle, and I'm tempted to use another product. As a writer noted, the 3M is not clear, and leaves light colored stains on anything it touches, so
you need to be very careful.

There was a suggestion that Plexus stiffened the plastic, making the crease worse. That makes the Megs sound like the next thing I'll try.

I tried 3M cleaner and polish and the window looks better than new. I applied in the shade and it came off with very little effort. I did get a little bit on the top but I quickly wiped if off with a damp cloth no problem.

where can you get plexus? Do you have to mail oreder or can you get it at a retail outlet. I have used McGuires but it is a pain. I have not seen the Plexus in any auto stores here in CT.

I've used the 3M cleaner and polish a few times. Its a pain to do, and if you get it on any of the black around the window it doesn't like to come off. But, it sure does clean up the window.

Just got my Plexus last weekend, and used it on a not too dirty window, and it did a great job.

What I have seen posted here in the past, is that the Plexus is great to use inbetween using the 3M or Meguire's products. Use the Plexus to clean the window on a weekly/monthly basis, and if your start to see the window fog up, or start to have little scratches, go for the 3M or the Meguire's.

I got the Novus cleaner from the local Harley Shop near my old apartment. I haven't used Plexus, but the Novus cleaner works brilliantly. Crystal clear and no scratching. It comes in a pump spray bottle and costs $4.95. It is a white bottle with blue writing.

I have the Meguiars two part process as well, but it IS messy. I don't use it any more. It can leave residue...which the Novus does not.

Well worth it if you can't get Plexus readily.
