Default Any 04 Suspension Changes

I have heard and posted myself that they are softening up the car, but I was looking through some of the new information that is now available and have found nothing that substantiates the rumors. I think the suspension is exactly the same. Does anyone have any further info?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I have heard it's either the same or it's different. I am pretty sure that one of those is the case.

I don't think anyone knows for sure yet. We are ALL going to have to wait for the car.

Thinner rear stabilizer bar and slower steering rack are the only two things that have been confirmed. It would not supprise me to find that Honda also changed the spring rates and or the rebound rate. Honda wants this car to be less prone to snap oversteer. Honda changed the suspension for '02 also but didnt not go public with these changes in America (I think they did in Europe though).

The new brochure says the shocks, springs, and stabilizer bars are all revised for better road-holding in corners and improved ride comfort at any speed. In addition, it says they reduced the roll center and recalibrated the EPS for improved response and driver control.

New for 2004 is increased body rigidity with body reinforcements, and a new crossmember. Also revised shocks, springs, and rear stabilizers.

Actually both the front and rear swaybars have changed. See:

Are you reading that from a real brochure or from here:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...threadid=150221 ? My eyes are not good enough to read the small print in those scans!
