Nice write up!

I've had the bar since S2K Days and am very happy with it too.

Great Mod if your looking for a significant improvement in handling!

I don't have one of these, but I have driven Nick's car, as he is the Voice of the Aftermarket, and it really does make a huge difference. It was at Gingerman, too, where you really feel the difference it makes...

And congrats again on winning the bar...you were so thrilled...and people told me that you were thinking about buying one! Very cool...!

And since I'm the Shill of MG Racing, I must agree with you about sponsors....without them, S2KDys would not be the success it was. Scott Z was very generous in King's support of the event...thanks to all of the sponsors!

David I can't believe it took you this long to install the bar... You should have given it to me like I insisted .

Anyway, I'm glad you are happy with the mod. You are making me want to buy it (shame on you )... Soon very soon.

very nice writeup. I drove cdelena's car which had a STB/Spoon XBrace and the Mugen swaybar - all I gotta say: I'm SOLD on the idea! I love it! It was *really* hard to push the car out in the corners. I only took it for a quick spin and could only get an ounce of push-out/oversteer, and that was *trying* - but it wasn't my car so I didn't push it that hard. Definately more predictable in the corners, and like dbkelly states - makes the cornering flat! Quite amazing.

My only questions were, is the Mugen hollow? Is the stock hollow? Everyone says 'yes', and I haven't even bothered to look (cause I'm lazy that way). But it appears from the pictures that they are 'solid' bars. True?

The Mugen bar is hollow and I'm sure the stocker is, as well...

Yes, both are hollow.

The Mugen bar is made on the same production line as the stock bar from what I recall.

interesting. most of the hollow ones I've seen don't have closed ends - which can be bad for all the crap that can get inside there. thanks for the responses!

Well, can you say group buy for the same full price! I guess I'll get the 3rd piece to complete the front suspension mods.
