Dyno Day II: Good Times
Thanks to everyone for showing up. It was great to see the first-timers come to a realization that it's more fun than meets the eye to thrash your engine on a big ass roller to get some readout on a computer in order to take some funk papers home with graph charts on it.
John - Good luck with the Vortech. ingenious mod to the stock airbox!
Tom - there are so many factors that may have contributed to your results. would've been to good to run rob and his car in a straightline from say a 10mph roll to see real life results.
jerry - thanks for bringing the laptop and doing your guesstimates. you kinda sucked at it
, but it was fun. always an entertainment piece u are.
walter - thanks for showing up... again. it's always great to talk cars with you. you are the closest thing to evo magazine to me.
andrew - thanks for letting me drive the sti. i hope you still continue to hang out with the s2000 group cuz we still like u.
jerod (sp?) - good meeting u. good job on putting out the most N/A power today.
rob - you got the rt black magic car. stand proud. thanks for the chicken burger.
ray - nice porsche with the twisty dials. it's always good to have the voodoo doctor in the house.
welling (sp?) - get a rear bumper ASAP! nice rims, good output, and keep the scrape side down! u got a loud ass car, but ferdian still has you beat when he had the single teardrop veilside on his yellow S. can you get the pics to Rob?
no shows - lame, man. you guys missed out and almost screwed all of us out of the group buy pricing.
pls free to post your numbers here if you want. My stock car put out 205hp and pretty much no torque, but duh we drive a 4-banger that you have to thrash on to get any kind of power... right?
all the best,

all the best,
sorry for the no show... it was my gf's 21st bday friday night... and it turned out to be a very messy party. since me and my friend were the only sober people there, we ended up with a bill of over $400 and a bunch of drunk korean people to manage to get home. I HATE DRUNK KOREAN PEOPLE.
my bad ben.
my bad ben.
Hi there i've given the pictures to Rob, i think he should dl it soon. Thanks for the fun time. I don't know about getting a rear bumper cuz i also can get brake upgrades with it , just can't decide.
Rear bumper, man. Honestly, your car looks really cheap w/o the rear bumper. You don't even track that car so what are you going to do with bigger bling brakes than the already solid stock brakes? you can't even drive fast for fear of cracking your body kit that sits lower than a turtle on the ground.
thanks for hooking us up with pics!

Ben, thanks for organizing this event, as always good job!
As for numbers I am too embarrassed to post my extremely low figures on here
. But fear not, I have already called Comptech and am chasing down all possible gremlins...
Nice numbers Rob (What's your secret Ray?).
