Is this considered racist? All inputs/opinions welcome
Say a girl of one race says they dont date a certain race, would you consider this a form of racism?
Now you can make the argument that you can't help who the girl is attracted to, but what is the difference between not affiliating yourself to a race because you're not attracted to them and and not affiliating yourself to a race because you hate them for whatever reason?
Also, if a girl is friends with guys of a race but says they are not attracted to them in a dating way, what would that classify as?
Is it ok to generalize and say you dont date any person of that entire race? Is that racism?
Please explain...

it depends on the context.
if she said, "... because they're all a bunch of (insert generalized condescending adjective)." then it would be racism
if she said, "... because I'm not really attracted to them." then it's not.
we're entitled to our personal preferences, but we're not entitled to make generalizations about whole groups of people to their detriment-- that's racism.

I think simply stating that you would not date a certain race, in itself, is racist. However small. I don't think anyone can say that they have never been racist.
If i said i won't date a Korean girl, would it be considered racist because as an asian, can i be racist against another asian? But if i said i wouldn't date a black girl cause my parents wouldn't like her, would I be considered racist knowing how much trouble it would cause? who knows.... really tough situation.
