These are pics of my HT storage system as promised. It's a one person on/off device. You'll need to improvise depending upon what materials are available where you live. Most of my stuff was bought at a super hardware store, like Home Hardware, Revy, etc.
1st pic shows some of the hardware. I used single pulleys from the hangers above each hook. winch hardware.jpg
The round thing is a 3# weight so the hooks will come down when not loaded. pulley weight.jpg
Hanging HT just after I drove the car out. hanging HT.jpg
The HT in its final storage place just above the open garage door. stored HT2.jpg
Rear hook -- as you can see, the rubber seal is NOT deformed. rear hook.jpg
A final shot of the pulley system after storage. ropes & pulleys.jpg

4igs2000: Wow, how cool, so where do you live so i can back into your garage and test out your device -- Come on up to Calgary and you can try all you like.
s2kblk: Nice going. That's a real good setup. Did you make that up on your own? -- Yes, my very own self. No space, so "necessity is the Mother of invention".
