Default MY04 w/hardtop (several pics)

Just finished installing my new hardtop - thought you guys might like to see how it looks
Shortly after that, I installed my new winter rim/tire set (Mille Miglia HT3 w/ Blizzak LM-22's). The sun was already down, so they are a little dark.
Thank's to Jim at Tire Rack for all the help! Looks pretty good for a winter car
It's like having several different cars to play with - hard top, convertible, silver rims, dark rims
The fun will never end

Wow, that looks sweet. I just picked up my '04 Silverstone/Black on Friday and I'm loving every minute of it. I've been debating wether or not to get a hard top now or wait a while. Your pics make me want one now. Very nice. I'd like to hear your comments on interior noise level and visibility w/ hardtop on. Did you get it from Hardtopguy? Did you install it yourself?

Bought it with the car (financing) but without install to save $$. The top got here about 3 weeks after being orderd in a HUGE cardboard box. Installed it myself in just a couple of hours. The only thing that took time was adjusting the top just right (1mm here, 3 mm there etc., but that's just how I am)
Took it for a short drive - BIG difference in noise level. It seems like a coupe now, I can actually hear myself breathe . I did notice the engine/drivetrain a little more, but I don't mind at all (that's why I bought the car - if I wanted a luxury coupe/convertible I would have gotten something else).
It does seem to open up the interior somewhat with the additional glass, and visibility out back is much better. The top is lined and looks very finished (but only weighs 44lbs). I highly recommend it if you can afford it (even if you can't )

Thanks for the additional info. It only makes me want one more. Were you able to negotiate on the price at all? Do you mind telling us what you paid for it (the top)? Thanks again. Now I'm wishing I had included it in my financing. Oh well.

Yeah, but now I'm done for awhile, that fresh water---I mean cold air intake will have to wait. I'll just have to make due with a quiet intake for now (poor, poor me ).
