yes, the soft top is still underneath the hardtop. Some people might feel the need to take out the softtop to save weight but its just too much trouble.

Did your hardtop require an installation kit?

I spoke to Hardtopguy today about the kit. He said that Suzuka and Sebring don't need the kit since they were new colors for MY02 - also the first year for the glass rear window w/ defroster - so those colors don't need the additional (different) kit. They already have the proper wires/plugs and such. I think I may have oversimplified his explanation a bit, but that is the gist of it. It is still a bit confusing to me, but hopefully it will become clear when my hardtop arrives sometime next week!

Many others here have said it and I concur, Hardtopguy is great! I'd like to thank him for setting me up with a hardtop. Instead of waiting 8-10 weeks to get one from my local dealer, I should have it in a few days. Not to mention the great price!

Thanks again Hardtopguy!

For all that are still confused about what kits are needed for what cars, Jeff has posted a nice summary over in the group buy forum. Here is the link to the thread: http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=161018
