WTB: crank pulley tool ASAP!
so a friend of mine and me had no luck removing the crank pulley with a few of our own tools, and the dealerships in town are a bunch of turds and won't let us borrow their gear for an hour. now, i'm hoping one of you might have one for sell or would be willing to allow me to borrow for an install.
i'm in need of it quick like so i'd pay you to 2 day it via paypal. any takers? i'm really in a bind here, and my SC and AC have been sitting in my garage for 3 weeks. it's killin' me!

I think snap-on has a copy of the honda crank pulley tool that they sell. If you do some searches you should be able to find the part#. I think its around $80.
It really sucks that the dealers wont lend or rent you the tool.

you're not kidding, bro. i talked to them on the phone, and they said someone would be able to help me. i got there and after being pointed to about 4 different people, they told me to talk to the manager. the manager called and told someone else to tell us no. didn't even do it himself. and the guy was rude about it!
i already found one from moroso that will do the trick and ordered it. that's basically my back up plan since i'm not sure how quickly they'll be able to get it to me. i plan to cancel that order if i can find the tool here.

you can buy it from hparts.com. i think the total for the pulley tool + holder handle is like $104 brand new.
or you can buy this, its the exact same thing. even tho it doesn't say its for honda 2.0L engines, it fits fine, there's a couple of people in the under the hood forum that use this exact tool.

or if you have a bolt supplier in your town, go there and buy a 50 mm nut, and a sheet metal shop and a bar of steel, and weld the steel onto the nut.

tks, squeezer. i found it at summit racing for $67 plus shipping. it's on the way now.
i think i'm going to keep the tool in the garage and rent it out or sell it to the next poor guy on the boards who runs into the same problem i had.
