here is the story:

i was heading home on 10E @ 12:30am-ish last nite. i had my 8500 on and got nothing. right before going on 60E from 10E, with not much car around on the freeway, i saw a car coming up from behind fast and the headlights looks *familiar*, so i slowed down to about 85. that *car* paced me from behind and not long after, he lite 'em up and pull me off the freeway.

i was asked the usual questions, where to? where from? been drinking? whose car? yadi yada ... at the end, he didn't give me any ticket, only a *friendly advise* to slow down and drive safely.

i had my 8500 on the dash the whole time and i tried to be polite and cooperative.

and i spent the rest of my trip home staying under 80 (8500 was still on)

yes, he can call it "eye-balling" your speed or pacing. A joke in my opinion.

 

slowed down to 85??? how fast were you going?

hope you drive extra cautiously going that fast. i wouldn't want you to kill me on the road.
