A little present came today from literally half-way around the world.
Install took about 40 min. I still have to adjust the hood, it does'nt shut when I drop it from 10 inches anymore. But it'll latch when I gently push it down..

Sweet! Is that the spoon style snorkel? Any noticable gains? What about the sound? Does acceleration sound any different?

Anyhow, looks great. Congrats on the purchase.

Nice. When I decide to go back to something like that, I want that design. Very nice. Where can I read more on this? Price and availability? It reminds me of the Mugen and the price of $1000 always scared me off.

By the way, that's a cool globe, I could actually see a few folks waving hello!

did you have to trim anything inside the airbox itself. I read in other threads that the snorkel requires the use of a dremel to grind the ridges down. Also did you have trim the snorkel down to fit ?

I'm really interested because of the price and I want to keep the existing airbox, but I had read that you have to be cautious about knock-offs and fitment.

No trimming req'd but that may be in the works to get the hood to latch right. I think it hits the hood so slightly that it bounces off the duct when dropping it from 10-15 inches.

I think we're talking 1/8-1/4" here. I'll get it right, small price to pay IMO.

Airgate: I think I keep that globe around in my office to help me think big thoughts. Or maybe it's to remember how small this world really is.
