Just finished painting inside the inlet part flat black and I did some slight trimming (2 minutes with a dremel) so the duct slips around the grill slats(vs. hitting them). I think the the hood was bouncing off the hood prop/strut/rubber thing. It closes OK now.
Driving Impressions: We're having 30-40 degree temps, so cold air was not a problem. Definetely throatier sound judging from a good 90mph blast on an I-40 on-ramp Nowhere near as loud as regular CAI.
