VFROOM did you put something between your hood and the duct? To prevent the hood from scratching it?

Just finished painting inside the inlet part flat black and I did some slight trimming (2 minutes with a dremel) so the duct slips around the grill slats(vs. hitting them). I think the the hood was bouncing off the hood prop/strut/rubber thing. It closes OK now.

Driving Impressions: We're having 30-40 degree temps, so cold air was not a problem. Definetely throatier sound judging from a good 90mph blast on an I-40 on-ramp Nowhere near as loud as regular CAI.

You'll love it this summer when its 95F and you're one of the few who can barely keep up with me and my Injen.

hp gaines are about 1...maybe 2 on a good day, but i did notice my mpg went up 2 or so.
