what is the major difference between the older ones you are selling and these new ones (abs and fiberglass).....any pics mounted?

 

^the newer revised ABS are thinner than the fiberglass lids

I got the fiberglass ones just for a quick photo shoot this weekend. Tim said I could post a few of the photos if I wanted. I put these on very quickly, since I'll be taking them off again on Sunday. I didn't spend much time on them. The color matches better than the photos show. There is a slight fit problem, but I'm sure it's not the eyelids.

My .02 is that if you've cleared your corners, you will notice if you put the headlights in or the nose on correctly. I can tell my passenger's side headlight doesn't sit in as flush as the drivers, therefor the eyelid sticks up above the hood line more. On the driver's side, I think the nose was put on just slightly crooked, so there's a bit of a gap.

Again, these are the fiberglass ones, and they are kind of thick. I'd say get the thin ABS ones if it's in your budget. I think the thin ones will make the fitting problems like the ones I have less noticeable.

I'm doing an outdoor photoshoot on Saturday. I'll mess with these a bit more between now and then and get some better shots.

Tim has great service and gone out of his way to make sure I at least had the fiberglass eyelids in time for my photoshoot/meet, since the ones I ordered weren't done in time due to problems with the shop he was working with. After these go back and I get the ABS ones, I can post photos of those on if anyone is interested.

Again, sorry for the lighting, these were taken in my garage. I only spent about 3 minutes throwing these on my car.
