Unofficial s2kdays '01...& 1/2
I was wondering... I had such a great time at s2kdays this year that I was thinking of returning to Asheville to tame the Dragon once again. Having the vendors there was cool, and to see all the different accessories that everyone had was as well, but mostly it was the driving and hanging out that was memorable... This could be done so cheap...no overhead. Like a Saturday and Sunday in September. So, does anyone besides me have any interest in going back for a reprise of s2kdays '01? I'm sure I can't wait until next year for a Stook meet. Monterey will be cool, but I can't take my mind off the scenery of Asheville, and of course, the Dragon. Anyone interested?

I'd be up for it!!!
Heck, I keep thinking about heading down there for a weekend! Its about 4.5-5 hours away, so its not too bad of a drive. But then, might just have to take the back roads down, and then its probably a 8-9 hour drive!
Heck, after watching LIPs movies, I'm ready to leave NOW!!!

I'm definitely going back, I need to check out the S03's I'll have at the time via extreme sport. It'd be great to have some company. The cost, as I said, would be minimal, it's just making time really, and that's why September would work well, it's far enough in advance that everyone could make plans for it, and the weather should be excellent. I hope more peeps reply.

Hmmmm, doesn't look like too many people are interested!
Heck, could meet up late Friday evening, or a Saturday morning, drive for the day, sit around in the evening swapping lies, and head home Sunday!

My vote is for Knoxville. It's closer to The Dragon, and has more nightlife opportunities if you know what I mean.
I would hope that Knoxville as a choice will attract more of our Midwestern crowd.
October is leaf changing month here. Usually the second weekend is the peak time. But the secret's out, and you can expect near bumper-to-bumper on the Parkway then.
