I almost took the buy it now however something has to be wrong. I expect it will be one of those deals where after you buy it you have to wire transfer the money before picking the car up. I did email him and said I would like a number to call him at. We will see if he responds. I would buy it at that price just to resell.

I saw that also. I sorta just figured that it was a typo and he meant for the buy it now to be 29.8k.

It is a scam. Here is the email reply the seller sent me. This is a classic scam that is on ebay all the time. I saw an M3 last month and the details on how they wanted to be paid were exactly the same.

I've just read your email and I think that we can start the deal only if you understand that I'm a very serious eBay member and for this reason I put pre-approved list, to be sure that the winner will be 100% agree with all my payment and shipping details. The car has a clear title and will be shipped with the car.I will ship the car and after you will recieve it and test it you will send me the money. I've just arrived London, Uk and I'll be staying here for a couple of months, I will ask my brother in law to ship you the car, but in order to make sure that I will not lose the shipping money I must ask you to send me a refundable deposit of $2000 there in London. For this deposit I accept only money order via western union. Here is my NAME AND ADDRESS for payment:Chuck Connor, 71 Fleet Street, London, EC4Y 1HS , United Kingdom. All you have to do is to fill a form with my name and address and your name and address and pay in cash. From this service you will receive a number called MTCN. Western Union offices are allmost in every bank or postoffice. The car will shiped immediately after I have the payment confirmation from you. You will mail me the confirmation that should include the FULL sender's name and address and also the money transfer control number that registers the transfer. I will also need your full name and the address where you want the car to be shipped. You will recive the car in 5 or 7 days depends on your location and I expect an answer from you as soon as you have it. If you decide to keep the car and I don't see any reason why you won't do that, you should send me the rest of the money on my account in maximum 7 days.
Thanks for your attention and I am looking forward to hear from you.

Fleet Street is where all of the UKs large newspapers have their head-offices. I'm reasonably certain from having lived there that #71 is *not* a residence.

Something fishy for sure.

The scam is not for the price of the car, but rather for the $2000 deposit. You send the depost & that's it.

I had a guy steal pics of my Porsche off my web site & try to do the same thing. I was checking out e-bay & saw my car for sale with pics from my front yard.

We got it shut down.
