Seattle crew is coming to Vancouver BC May 1st???
Sean, you mentioned that a guest was coming over from one of the Prairie provinces the first week of May. I wanted to get a thread started and the event added to the calendar. Do you have any more information at this time?

Things for this meet are starting to take shape. At this point, this is are tentative plan.
Hotel Information!
I have arranged for a group booking rate at:
Best Western Coquitlam Inn
319 North road
Coquitlam, BC
The rate is $99 per night and is available for Friday (April 30th) and Saturday (May 1st) nights. To get this rate, you must call the central booking number (1 800 668 3383) on or before 4pm March 31. You will need to tell them that you are with the S2KI.com group in order to get the rate. The price will probably jump to $139 per night if booked after this date.
Sunday Brunch Info:
Originally, the plan was to go to a restaurant on Burnaby Mountain for brunch, but their menu was too limited due to the size of the group. The Bestwestern has a very good "all Sean can eat" buffet on Sundays AND they were very willing to accomodate our large group, so I made a reservation their instead. The brunch buffet is fairly extensive...
ALL you can eat:
crab legs
salmon
smoked salmon
raw oysters (yuk)
prawns
shrimps
cold cuts and cheese platter
Yummy baked ham
not very yummy roast beef
a very good omlette bar
fresh prepared waffles
eggs of all sorts
chicken wings
fresh squeezed juices and coffee or tea
bacon
sausage (no need to worry about human DNA)
and a bunch of other hot food items
pastries and dessert table
Saturday May 1st

[*]7:30ish - off we go for a drive
