If you get spare time what do you like to do?

I recently took up making stained glass projects and am enjoying it.

:edit: OK, I know everyone's spare time activity. It's S2ki.

Hobbies and things I like to do;
refinish old furniture
Paint
build things out of wood

I always wanted to learn how to do stained glass.
I get obsessive with stuff like that and have to get all the right tools, supplies etc... and the tools needed for that are not cheap so I have put it on the back burner for a while.

I like to race and I like to work on cars. I'm working for the next 10 years to buy all the tools and equipment I'll need for my retirement.

I also like to exercise, although lately it has been tough to get motivated.

I like to write and imagine that someday I'll write a book.

vmoul, I used to refinish furniture. I always loved taking some painted-over piece of junk and bringing it back to its old glory. My favorite furniture was solid mahoganies of the Queen Ann style, although I have one great old Empire piece with a crotched mahogany veneer that I really love. I dated it to around 1860. The workmanship is great.

I always wanted to learn s.g. too. When I went to the Antelope Valley Fair last summer there was a lady there working on a piece. Ended up she taught how to do it in small classes. I had a 6 week class and learned how. The price included the basic tools. At first I was impatient because it takes a while to complete a project, but now I accept that. Since you like to paint (I like doing watercolors) you would probably love designing your own stained glass too.

When I'm not at work I spend time in my shop making custom knives from scratch.

When I'm not making knives I'm rebuilding the 74 Javelin pictured in my Avatar.

When I'm not working on the Javelin I'm modifing my BMW 325Ci or pampering the S2000.

I know that it sounds Ultra-Vintage, but I just started to input data into the new Familytreemaker software that I acquired a few weeks ago

Next I'll be following in my spinster aunt's footsteps....out in graveyards doing tombstone rubbings

What is this "spare time" thing you are talking about? I don't know what that is. Please explain.
