Default So I called up this shop about installing my gears...

Me: Hi I was wondering if you guys did final drive ring and pinion installations
Him: What kind of car?
Me: Honda S2000
Him: Sorry we don't do front wheel drive cars
Me: *thinking WTF?* Um, it is rear wheel drive...
Him: What is that? A car?
Me: Yeah..
Him: Sorry we don't have the right tools to work on a Honda
Me: Ok thanks..

Wow, that conversation was a waste...

I'm actually glad I am not getting an installation there now

Just thought I'd share

I know it not that close to you but I used http://yp.bellsouth.com/sites/advancedriveline/
if you ship it to them they charge $165.00 for the gear install - I took out my diff dropped it off in the morning and picked it up the same day! Highly recommended - speak to george the owner!

I bought the gears from Ricks 4.57 and it came with the treatment ! I provided all of the bits and pieces and ricks even ships the shim kit with the gears for free!

I thought ricks only provides the polydyn treatment for the gears?

correct, that is the only treatment I was looking for - the richmond gearset is suppose to be stronger than others available - at least that is what I believe!

Do you know whether the 4.77's are the same strengh as the stock 4.10's?
