To make a long story short, I hit a large rock and tore some things up. It hit the front drivers side of my Whiteline front brace and RIPPED the bolt out and bent the bar back. Any suggestions on what exactly needs to be replaced and tips on how to do it? I'll try to get some pics posted later. Thanks!

 

if the brace is bent you will need a new brace
the material is very fragile and will break if you try to bent it back

the other stuffs can be removed and straithen out with a hammer

take a pics and will try to tell you more

I'm definately going to replace the Xbrace, I'm just concerned w/ the front crossmember. I looked it up and it's about $500. I just haven't had a chance to figure out if the whole crossmember needs to be replaced, or if I can just separate it into different parts and replace the broken pieces. I'll try to get pics tonight.

Your such a confidence booster! Actually, I'm glad you pointed out the exhaust dent too. So, the exhaust is dented, the Xbrace, the rear tie bar, and the front crossmember. Do you think insurance might cover this?

looks like a job for the hammer and some touch up welding

consider yourself lucky that you had the brace on

BTW I did the same thing not too long ago

 

back from the dead ...i have the EXACT same problem...did u end up having to purchase an entire new crossmember? or did u just fix it?
