Digital Movies
I recently got my first digital camera. I understand you can make short Quicktime movies with it. My pictures even have a Quicktime icon in one corner when I load them on my computer. The camera is a Kodak DC 3400. Anyone know how to do this?
Does anyone have an answer to my question about making Quicktime movies with a digital camera? Please help.

I'd love to help you with this, but I don't really understand your question. Obviously the mechanics of this are going to vary from camera to camera. I have a Nikon Coolpix 990 which also takes short movies up to a maximium of about 40 secs I think. It's not a feature I use a great deal but once loaded onto your P.C. it should all be fairly automatic to run it. The fact that you say you have a Quicktime icon means I assume that you've loaded a movie sequence and can't run it. Try opening your file from where it's stored on your computer via the Quicktime Open file menu.Seems you need to really get down to that instruction book or find someone with the same camera

I've just had a quick web search and looked at the specs for this camera. It makes no mention of any movie function. I would check with your dealer if you've just bought it. If it doesn't have the function and it's one you particularly wanted, he should change it.
Stick with it. You'll have loads of fun.
