I was planning to give the zed the full Zanio treatment on Monday, but I woke up to a nice overcast sky this morning, so decided, what the hell lets go for it. I swiftly despatched Mrs RichUK to the shops to keep her out of the way and then got ready to start.

First of all I was worried I didn't have enough cleaning products to get me through the day . At the motorshow I managed to pick some tyre products up from Autoglym. One of the issues I have with the 350 is the amount of brake dust that gets caked over the alloys.

Just been given a good clean with Fairy. I found the Apple scented variety to be best suited to this job.

Five hours after I started. I cannot believe the finish.

I just cannot believe how well the car came up, the difference is unbelievable.

So after all that work, what are my opinions of the stuff? Well I'm so glad I had a large stock of Pakshak towels (thanks Kev), boy do you use a lot of them. I'm also very glad I use a flexi blade for drying the car, as it is so much better than a Chamios, and allows you to use a waffle weave towel to finish off.

I actually thought it would take me longer to what I did. I washed with Fairy, dried, clay barred, washed with Z7, dried, Z5, Z6, Z2, Z6, then I did the alloys and tires. Took just about 5 hours start to finish.

My neighbours now are convinced I'm mad, but we've known that for sometime.

My only regret is that I didn't get into using this stuff when I had my S2000.

Flame away folks
