Default VAFC Install

I just had the VAFC controller installed at a shop and tuned on the dyno it made 12 hp and 10 lbs of torque to the wheels. The low end is a lot more smooth and the vtec kicks a lot smoother and more powerful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for more power. My power numbers were 210hp and 144 lbs/trq. Its the Apexi VAFC.

Any chance you could post before/after dyno plots?

could you keep tabs on before/after mileage comparisons? I'm curious to see how this compares to replacing the ECU entirely.

Thanks

It cost me 750 for everything the actual part was like 450 and install was 125 and dyno tuning was 125

Did you have the Injen intake on when you ran the dyno test?

Thanks

Wow $450 for the VAFC...

For thsoe looking, if you look, you can usually find them for about $320-$350 and soemtimes as low as $280 shipped(which is what I paid for mine in the CRX).

www.bulletproofautomotive.com is now carrying Apex'i products. Would there be any interest in a group buy on the V-AFC's? Of course, you'll need to either 'splice-install' or make your own wiring harness.

If you can arrange a snapshot of the sheet with a friends digital camera or a $2 scan at the local kinko's, I'll make sure the image get's hosted and posted.

Lots of folks are very interested in mods like this, but really want to see documentation of results. Did you have before/after dyno runs done?
