It's time to get ready for our 4th annual gathering at AATees' lake
house (aka "Tees Aquaplex"). This is easily one of our best events of
the year...

Al and Nancy have graciously again offered their Tyler lake house and
water vehicles for a day of fun & sun. Pertinent details follow:

When: Saturday, June 26th

Lake Activities:
- Lunch (brauts, burgers, sides and desert).
- Tour of the lake, tubing, skiing aboard Al & Nancy's boat
- Jet skiing
- Canoeing
- Sun bathing/swimming/reading/socializing
- Water Slide!
- Volleyball
- Ping-pong
- Darts
- Saturday late afternoon drive on the twisties around the lake
- Dinner in Tyler
- Travel back home

Travel Schedule: We'll meet at Starbucks just north of the Galleria
(intersection of Alpha and Noel Roads) at 8:30am and will leave promptly
at 9:00am. Maps and directions will be available in case we get
separated (see attached). It will take about a little over 1.5 hours to
get to the lake house, as it is 100 miles east of Dallas. If you are
running late or get lost, call us on the wireless at 214.476.5170 -or-

Cost: We will be taking donations for gas (for the boats) and food. $5
per person should help cover costs.

What you should bring:
- Swimsuit
- Towels
- Sunscreen
- Floats
- Folding Chairs
- Beverages
- Change of Clothes

Feel free to bring a friend or significant other! To help us get a count
for food, please reply to this thread if you plan on attending preferably
on or before Thursday, June 24th.

If we could get two jet-skis for three hours how many of you would be willing to pitch in, say $20, on the rental?

I of course would be in.

Count me in for 1 for now. Is the caravan going to be going out on crappy I-20 (or 80) or is there a more interesting and scenic route planned. Maybe Al knows a more fun way to get there (even if it takes more time). What do you guys think?
