I just reseve a letter from Honda.
What is the problem?
The lenses of the side marker lamp and side reflex reflector,within the tail light assembly,were improperly manufactured,and may not retain their colour over time.If this occurs,the tail light would not comply with the C.M.V.S.S.
What should you do?
Contact your Honda dealer to shedule an appointment to have your vehicle repaired.They need the car less than a day.The dealer will replace both tail lights for free.
If the dealer fails or is unable to make the necessary repairs free of charge,you may contact Honda Canada's Customer Relations Department,or visit the website www.honda.ca

 

I wonder if they're gonna install the 02+ tail lights (with the silver rings)....probably eh?

 

I dont think so!Probobly with the 00+tail lights,but I let you now.

nope 00 lights i stopped to look at them.... no chrome ring and no way around it.

 

I have read about complaints regarding the fading, but this is the first I have heard of a recall. I wonder if we over here on the south side of the puddle will get it...
